PURPOSE AND MISSION

FCUBSNAAI, Inc shall primarily organize and establish ways and means to maintain a community of graduates of Filamer Christian University College of Nursing and to:

• Provide a forum for discussion of activities that foster bonds of unity, friendship, and camaraderie among its members.

• It shall serve as a venue for maintaining a link and contact with Filamer Christian University College of Nursing to foster the nursing profession.

• It shall conduct educational services capitalizing on nursing advancement in practice and healthcare delivery.

• It shall develop relevant policies to promote the professional standards of nursing practice.

• To create activities to serve the community by enriching its community resources through partnership with other professional nursing organizations.

• It conducts various functions to support activities and events for its members and generate funds for such activities.

Authority

The Officers and Board of Directors shall manage, direct, control, and administer the purposes, affairs, and businesses of FCUBSNAAI, Inc.; put into effect policies, directives, and instructions of the by-laws; the decisions adopted at meetings and act for FCUBSNAAI Inc. in all matters within the authority of these by-laws.

The organization is global in coverage as its members are worldwide and may create or grant approvals of sub-chapters in regions, continents, or countries where members reside.

Powers

The FCUBSNAAI, Inc. shall engage in activities necessary to promote and achieve its purposes and mission. Although established as a not-for-profit organization, it may conduct essential fund drives to support its operational needs. It shall decide on the disbursement of such funds trusted to be within the bounds of its purposes and for the benefit of the Filamer Christian University Nursing graduates and the community it serves.

Affiliations, Global Chapters

The FCUBSNAAI, Inc. shall initiate and approve the establishment of chapters in regions, continents, or countries where members reside. It shall allow parallel powers stipulated in the home organization's by-laws. The chapter will be assigned a coordinator responsible for updating and summarizing activities for the home organization's officers and board of directors.

Seat of the Organization

In consideration that the founding of FCUBSNAAI, Inc. was initiated for the majority of Filamer Christian University nursing graduates outside the College of Nursing in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines, it shall be regarded INTERNATIONAL and will establish its home office where the Officers and Board of Directors centrally and strategically reside; the home office location may change as the set of Officers and Board of Directors change. The initial address was decided to be at 4565 Marine Avenue, Lawndale, CA 90260. The FCUBSNAAI will utilize the address of the current elected president.
